Description

Serving up ginormous, neon-colored Polynesian cocktails served to a mixed Silverlake crowd, the overriding design concept of the Eastside's favorite tiki bar is simple: hang up as much kitsch as possible, in as small a space as possible.

"THERE'S NO PLACE QUITE LIKE THE TIKI TI !!!!!!!"

The Tiki Ti has been a landmark for us locals for ages. I am 30 years old now, but i'll ALWAYS remember my first trip to the Tiki Ti just after my 21st birthday. Sure it's probably smaller then most of the big Hollywood stars walk in closets, but the atmosphere is simply AMAZING !!! Everyone is so friendly and the stuck up attitudes are definately checked at the door. And the drinks are THE BEST! Especially if you like the fruity or rum based drinks. If you can handle your liquor and it's your first time there then you have to try the famous "El Toro" drink. Just watching the bartender make it and the participation from the crowd is entertainment enough and well worth the hefty price. But TRUST ME there is enough alcohol in that thing that the price is actually a bargain. Especially compared to the watered down drinks that you can get from certain nearby places across the street. COUGH COUGH ACAPULCOS COUGH !!! Trendy people need not inquire and no velvet ropes to get passed through here. This place is a locals spot through and through.

the Tiki-Ti is a special place. a place where there is no need to "watch your back." we're all Ohana here. respet one another...thats all. take your time and get to know your favorite drink... (talk with whomever your seated or standing beside...)i have several... rum barrel, rum runner, and of course Rays Mistake...If im feeling Crazy , Blood and Sand...i first visited the Tiki-Ti on my 21st birthday... and had a great time. be aware... the spirits are alive in that tiny place, and also in the drinks!
