This offering from Adolfo Suaya (Goa), which is located in the ArcLight complex directly across the street from Amoeba Music on Sunset Boulevard, is a cozy, rather oddball Hollywood hang flush with kitschy knickknacks, mismatched thrift store lights and chairs, elaborate candelabras, indoor ficus trees, an extraordinarily wide and somewhat distressed simple wooden bar, a deer head wearing a tie and a bizarre overabundance of curio cabinets.
The bar and restaurant, in the old Charcoal space, debuted in March of 2009 and follows the recent nightlife trend of house-like hangs all over town (see MyHouse, Villa and H.Wood). But make no mistake, Boho is hardly an exclusive club; anyone can get in here. Boho is maybe more analagous to Ivan Kane's Cafe Was.
So what's on the menu? How about Scottish salmon w/ sunchoke puree, and a fry-ringed, tamarind/guava-glazed "Pile O' Ribs." There is also a fantastic beer menu at Boho, with a rotating cast of ales chosen in part by Verdugo's Ryan Sweeney (think Allagash White from Portland, Maine, or a St.Bernardus Tripel from Belgium).

Service was fine, but the food was overpriced and bland at best. Sent the soggy French toast back and ordered 2 eggs with potatoes. They served me 3 eggs...
