David Wilkinson's "Astra von Berlifitzing," a Goth waltz-ballet, is inspired by "Metzengerstein" and "Ligeia," two macabre short stories by Edgar Allan Poe. Set to a Goth-electronica score by composer Regan Remy. The event coincides with the 200th anniversary of Poe's birth.

Tickets for the performance are $20. Tickets are $30 to see the performance, receive waltz lessons and attend a costume ball following the show. Tickets for all of the above, plus absinthe cocktails and Austrian appetizers from Rockenwagner's 3 Square Cafe, are $40.
