Description
In the heart of downtown's Little Tokyo—outfitted with rows of shiny red vinyl booths and a long countertop for perching—lies a mecca for rabid ramen enthusiasts. Daikokuya serves a simple but stunning menu and their signature dish is comprised of rich, golden pork broth, a tangle of slippery noodles, soft, savory kurobuta black pork and a whole soy-marinated egg. Arrive early—doors close when the soup's all slurped up.

The wait was a bit long, but can understand considering that these are the best ramen noodles I've had in awhile. Once seated, the food came out so fast....
