With locations in New York, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, the gallery, founded in 1961 by current director Douglas Chrismas, is known for mounting expansive, museum-quality exhibitions of artists' work spanning the last forty years, in addition to emerging and mid-career artists.
Ace Gallery has shown all the big guns: Carl Andre, Dennis Hopper, Donald Judd, Robert Rauschenberg, Cy Twombly and Andy Warhol, to name just a few.Visiting
The gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Wilshire Tower at 5514 Wilshire Blvd., at the corner of Dunsmuir Ave. Free parking is available to visitors in the lot behind the building.
