The space has been a bar for quite some time, but this incarnation in probably the first "concept." A pub with 10 beers on tap (and nothing in a bottle), all curated by Christina Perozzi, aka the Beer Chick, a blogging beer enthusiast with a following and an eye for fine brews. There's a food menu too, with hearty choices like cheeseburgers and French fries that aren't just fried, but also drizzled with pork fat. Mmm, coronary-licious!

I was very happy to here that a beer bar had finally opened up in the Valley, and I was not disappointed after my first visit. From the moment I walked in until after finishing my first beer, I couldn’t stop commenting to my friends about how this was EXACTLY what the valley needed. Beer selection is great, although I would recommend adding a few more Stone's. The place itself is really nice...kind of a New York style bar with exposed brick, wooden floors, couple large LCD TVs, etc. Similar to the other gastropubs that have been sprouting up in LA. Also, the place has a full bar for those who don't prefer beer. Didn’t try the food but it looked good (the night I went they ran out of burgers…go figure!) Good crowd with a nice, social vibe. Fortunately, none of the riffraff of the valley has been attracted to the place…yet! Couple suggestions…(1) I realize the place is new, but have the bartenders at least be familiar with your beers. One of them kept having to refer to some sheet every time she was asked a question. (2) Get an additional bartender. When the place got slammed, it became very challenging to order anything, and I found myself in competition with others to flag down 1 of the 2 bartenders. Again, I know the place is still new and you’re working out the kinks, so hopefully these issues will be resolved in the near future. Overall, I love this place and and will be a frequent visitor.
