Decked out like a secret Russian diner—complete with propaganda art, 200 kinds of vodka and servers clad in red jumpsuits—this kitschy bar doesn't actually host conspiracy meetings and won't try to tap your cell phone. While most of the regulars sip standard vodka cocktails, we recommend ordering one of the fancy drinks made with organic juices.
Awesome crowd! Lisa Zane the singer I saw, transforms the room with passion and she's flawlessly amazingly originally eye catching. I was reminded of al l those gorgeous full throated ladies of torch from all over the world. But then! I found out most of the music was written and composed by her. The evening was completely unrefined, in its utter refinement;.Sometimes Raucous, sometimes emotional, she's got a wit which is rare for a beauitiful woman,. I dug it.Ps: The place is awesome too. Like an old Russian pub. Low lights , mirrors brick walls. And gorgeous people everywhere.
I LOVE this place. The drinks are amazing, best vodka ever, the crowd is diverse (you never know from night to night what kind of crowd it will be). The only problem is their DJ's are most of the time awful, and their sound system really sucks ass (worse than my crappy home stereo).
This place is so chill and for people that like to mingle. There is no room to dance unless you want to get on top of a table and bust a cayotes ugly. The architecture and decor are fabulous here. However the house specialties are not. The dj was funky and average. At one point I thought we were going to here commercials. Overall average.
I recently threw 2 birthday parties here and had a blast both times. Staff was extremely accommodating and service was excellent. Great music and good looking crowd. Ask for their specialty drink that they light on fire - don’t remember the name, but its killer. The place gets packed quickly on some nights, so get there before 10 if you want to avoid waiting in line.
I was visiting LA for New Year's Eve. We went to this bar based on the recommedation of a friend that lives in the area. We called ahead to make sure that we didn't have any problems getting in. The guy we spoke with said they were having a party, there would be cover, and just get there before 10 to guarantee getting in. Upon arrival at the bar just after 9pm, we were not allowed in (despite being ready to pay cover and more and being there plent early) because we weren't on the list, even though there was no mention of a list 2 days earlier.
