A popular family friendly restaurant by day, this church-themed Spanish villa turns into a party at night where gay and straight people mingle over its specialty cocktails and late-night eats. Chef Michael Brown, formerly of Wolfgang Puck, serves up bistro-style fare to go along with the alfresco ambience. Traditional comfort-food dishes, such as burgers and Eggs Benedict, are reappropriated with a sophisticated twist: the former are served as three Mini Burgers topped with various cheeses, the latter with salmon instead of Canadian bacon. Bottle service comes in the form of made-to-order tableside mixed drinks. And the decor is worth noting, too: birdcage chandeliers, pewter sunburst mirrors and quatrefoil table designs are all yours to take in, should you choose to sit at one of the banquettes in back.

Great place to grab drinks with friends. They are the same price as usual Hollywood Drink but you get a huge glass! And the cocktails are very good. The setting is super swanky and nice! and they always have great music here!
Despite the overpriced drinks and poor food, The Abbey has a great ambiance and is one of my favorite places to spend a nice Sunday afternoon drinking.
